A different, independent provider cancelled our appointment the day-of(even though it had been booked/confirmed 7 days prior), and as luck would have it, Valentina was hosting in my city that day. Fortunately, I had successfully used Valentina's agency several times before very recently, so I was luckily able to book a same-day appointment with quite short notice(YMMV, of course). I received her hotel address slightly more than 2 hours before our appointment start time, with specific instructions to NOT text from the hotel lobby. The instructions said to text from my vehicle when I have arrived. Fortunately again, I had been to this hotel before, so I knew that I needed to arrive early in order to get into the nearest parking garage(that I had to pay for), which is still actually a long walk to the hotel. It is also in a higher-crime and higher-traffic area, so it was certainly in one of my least-favorite areas to session in. But I have no idea how much of the location decision was up to Valentina. 15 minutes before our start time, I sent a text to notify them that I had parked. I promptly received a reply text to tell me they'd let me know when she is ready. I received the room number 2 minutes after our confirmed appointment start time. After the long walk from my vehicle, out of the parking structure, down the outdoor sidewalks, through the front door of the hotel, up the elevator, to her door, I gently knocked on it. After what seemed like a 60-second wait, the door finally opened. I'm just sharing the honest details of my experience, not complaining, because I'm grateful that I was able to book a same-day session with Valentina with a start time that actually worked for me. Anyway, I walked into the adequately-lit room while Valentina stood behind the door. By the end of my 1-hour session with Valentina, I was actually glad that the independent provider cancelled on me, because I had a great time with Valentina at almost half the rate of that independent provider who cancelled on me.
