What attracted me to Ally was how she presented herself through email communication, as well as he professional looking web site. I am an IT professional by trade, and I cringe to see some of the web sites put online by some providers. It was clear to me she was very serious about her career as well as very creative with how her web site was layed out. Her style of email, responsiveness, and friendliness made me realize I had to meet up with her. She was originally not going to come down to Hartford, but rather stay in Springfield, which was fine by me as it was only 25 minutes more of a drive for me. I actually suggested several hotels in the area, and she took me up on one suggestion - after she checked it out of course on Trip Advisor! I had a later afternoon meeting scheduled with her on a Friday, after a long tough week. It was an absolutely horrible New England day - rain, freezing rain, sleet, etc. I did not hear from Ally Friday morning, so about 4 hours before my appointment, I emailed her asking her how her ride was to Hartford and hoped that she was driving safely - and kidded about the lovely day (sarcastic). She responded about 45 minutes later and said she had arrived at the hotel and said that there was a Parrot Head convention going on, and that there was music, noise, drunk people all over, and it was total chaos! At first I thought she was nuts, but then Googled the convention and found that there was indeed a freaken Parrot Head convention at the hotel that I recommended! She did inform me in her email that the lady at the front desk put her in a nice quiet room on the concierge level, but unfortunately she would need to meet me in the lobby, which she said was not an issue given the many, many people all over the hotel. When I arrived, I called her as she requested. I was 4 minutes before my scheduled time. She answered after several rings and asked me for a few minutes as she wasn't ready yet. I ended up waiting in the hallway between the main lobby and elevators watching drunken Parrot Heads, listening to live music and anticipating her call back. It actually turned out to be more than a few minutes - 15 to be exact. I do not think she was with another client, but rather preparing herself since she had a horrible ride in bad weather. Whatever the reason was for her being 15 minutes late, she was VERY apologetic when she called. I asked her to come get me out of this drunken party and she said she'd be down right away. After watching people come and go to and from the elevators, dressed in beach type clothing and Jimmy Buffet shirts, the elevator opened and out walked Ally in a very nice black and white dress. This is when I realized the 15 minute wait was well worth it indeed. She came over and gave me a hug, as if we were old friends meeting for the first time in a few years, and then we made our way through the crowd into the totally packed elevators. She slid her card in the reader to get to the concierge floor, and up we went. When we got off the elevator, the noise subsided, and we proceeded down the hallway making small talk. When we were almost at her room, she stopped and gave me a LFK and another hug. I felt my pulse increase and was really ready to see what I had come to a Parrot Head convention for.....Read On
