Avoid! She asks for a deposit to confirm our appointment, which is usually a redflag but it's becoming more common. It was reasonable, so I sent the deposit. And guess what happened next? She asked for a second deposit for a travel fee. This is where I drew line and said "if there was an additional deposit needed, she should have asked for it upfront". I explained that we had an agreement and I'm willing to negotiate on fees/travel but will not send another deposit. She said I'm making things complicated, and I calmly explained that I feel that she made things complicated by introducing new fees and terms. A few messages later she stopped responding.
