I had a great time with her, but she ruined it after. I met her once, but then she stood me up twice. The first time we met, I arrived and waited about 20 minutes in my car. I texted a few times but didn't hear back, so I left. Shortly afterward, she texted asking me to come back. Since I'd already driven all that way, I turned around. I had a good time. We had great chemistry. I decided to book a second appointment. Getting it set up took some effort because I've found she's often quick to respond to the first message or two, but then communication drops off. Eventually, we set a time and she confirmed it. I showed up, texted her and got no response. I waited 10 minutes, texted again and still heard nothing, so I left. Later, she texted and said, "I never confirmed anything with you." She had. Despite that, I gave it another shot because I'd genuinely enjoyed our first meeting. We set another appointment and she confirmed it. This time, I texted when I was 10 minutes away, again when I was 5 minutes away, and again when I arrived. No response. I waited another 10 minutes and left. About 10 minutes later, she finally texted me the room number. By that point, I was done and told her I'd already left. I don't expect perfect punctuality. Things happen. But if you're running 10 or 20 minutes late, just say so. What I can't understand is repeatedly confirming appointments and then leaving someone sitting outside with no idea whether the appointment is actually happening. It's like making a reservation at a restaurant, driving across town, arriving to find the door locked, calling and getting no answer, and then getting a call after you've driven away asking you to come back. I genuinely enjoyed my time with her, which is why I gave it more than one chance. But the amount of effort and follow-up required on the client's part is far beyond reasonable. For me, the experience simply isn't worth the hassle.
