As we continued to text each other, I realized that her real life revolves a hobby that I truly love and breathe. And I'm not referring to the hobby that unites us on this web site. For me that was SOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOT that words cannot describe as for me an intellectual connection is simply too exciting. Because of my schedule, not hers, we set up an appointment almost 2 weeks later.
We kept texting each other daily, several times a day. I explained that I would like to meet her first outside of the hobby environment. She agreed to have a lunch with me that would be followed up by BCD. She was very accommodating on just every little thing.
This sweetheart of a girl then proceeded to book an hotel only 3 miles from where I was going to be, even though she was going to come from more than one hour away. I was so touched. She texted me her hotel info, I picked a restaurant to her liking (she loves sushi), and we were all set.
The day of the date, she texted me early when she woke up. Our date was set to 2 at the restaurant. At 11:30 she texted me she was running late because of errands she had to run in the morning took longer because of the rain. I said no pbm, just let me know when you leave. At 1:30 she texted she was leaving, and kept me informed of her ETA as she was driving. One cute thing, during the driving... she said she is a forgetful girl and her car doesn't ding when lights are on, but she had to run the headlights of her car because of the rain and was afraid to leave them on when she arrived, and she asked that I reminded her to turn the headlights off. I should have replied that I'm forgetful too, but I didn't. Well, she texted me at 2:20 that she arrived only 20 minutes off under pouring rain and I felt terrible, because a lady should not wait for a gentleman, and I was not there yet.....
Anyway, I arrived she was outside waiting for me. I knew how she looked, and I had described myself enough, so she knew who I was. We met outside, hugged, and went to the restaurant. Inside, I gave her a gift I got for her, of course, related to our other hobby. She loved it. The rest of the lunch proceeded with us talking about our outside hobby, exchanging pictures and experiences, etc. This girl is very unique!
She knew sushi much better than me. She ordered a couple of sushis and a roll. As I prefer cooked fish, I ordered a California Roll and a New York Roll. I had sake, she had Dr. Pepper, as she normally does not drink alcohol.
After 1 1/2 hour lunch, It was time for the next step. As we walked out of the restaurant, we kissed for the first time. And it was ELECTRIC!. The hotel she booked was only 2 miles away, so I got in my car, she got on her car, and I drove. When I was about to park at the hotel, my phone rang. It was her, I'd missed the text she sent first, the battery of her car was dead - OMG! I SHOULD HAVE TOLD HER I'M FORGETFULL TOO! I FORGOT TO REMIND HER TO TURN THE HEADLIGHTS OFF!!!! - But she was all apologetic and asking if I had jump cables, etc. I said, no worry, I'm coming right back, I'm calling AAA and we will take care of it. In 2 minutes I was back, I was already on the phone. It was cold in the 40's, so she hopped in my car as I spoke with AAA. She was holding my free hand all the time of the phone conversation. After the AAA setup was done, I realized she was stressed and felt bad for forgetting, I felt bad for my forgetfulness too. So, we continued in my car talking about our experiences on our outside hobby, and making out... we kept kissing and talking in the car, for 3
