Was unable to make a connection with the reviewed girl who was my first choice so I resorted to backpage ads. Bad mistake in Vegas. The ad specifically described Roxy as mid 30's, blond, and independent. There are 4 more (older) ads that all have pics of the same good-looking lady - the pics are nice, but not studio-quality - seems legit. I called to check availability, expecting either later in the evening or next day. She picked up and suggested that she could be at my hotel in 20 minutes. I was surprised and not ready (dinner plans) so I called her back and suggested noon the next day - immediately she agreed, she tells me her donation - sounds good - I want 2 hours of her time and this sounds reasonable to me, to be sure I confirm that she is independent, and this is the whole price - confirmed. The next day at noon, she didn't show. I called at 15 after, and a different girl's voice answered - she picked up the phone and pretended to be Roxy - but she had the info I had given the day before. I'm getting suspicious, but listened to her tell me that she was on the way and she denies that she is not the same girl I spoke to the day before. She had all the info, so I start to think, OK, maybe I'm wrong - it COULD be the same girl. I suggest we meet in the lobby of the hotel, she wants (almost insists) that she come directly to my room. I tell her to meet me in the lobby and proceed to read the paper waiting for her. 45 minutes past the time she told me, I call her back and she tells me that she's been pulled over by the cops and will call back. I head upstairs and chill. After almost an hour, I call back to confirm that she's not coming, so I can book someone else, and she tells me that she's already at the hotel and on her way to my room. She shows up at the door and it is NOT the girl in the photos. This girl is maybe 21, cute, bleached blond, and friendly - and tells me her name is MJ, so I let her in. She sits down and explains that the agency sent her instead, because Roxy was having a bad day. Then she starts telling me that the other girl would have been a problem anyway because she's a hot mess. I get a really bad feeling about the fact that I've been deceived - the ruse in Vegas is that the cost agreed up-front is just an agency fee, and that anything that happens AFTER she arrives and collects the fee is EXTRA. I tell her that I booked an independent named Roxy and am NOT going to play the upsell game. She asks what I want to spend, and I tell her, and then she insults me and my intelligence.
