I had seen Kat the night before. I didn't remember most of it, but had no regrets, and decided to pull the trigger again after texting a few times during the day. She's a sweetheart and I don't know what I am doing, so I probably overpaid her by a large sum the previous night but I don't care. I dropped into a different hotel just to be closer to her and had a brutal time trying to get my hands on $K in cash. I have it, but ATM limits, etc., totally fucked me. I told her I needed to go digital and that's not her preference, but she obliged. I sent a car to fetch her (and a surprise) She met me outside my hotel -- mobbed by twentysomethings trying to drink at the hotel's rooftop bar -- and didn't flinch. When she arrived, my surprise arrived in the form of a gorgeous friend named Skye, who was equally friendly. We went upstairs, hung out for 20, ordered drinks, and it was on.
