It was way easier getting a hold of her by phone, and I made sure to do a FaceTime video verification first — especially since she didn’t have a ton of reviews or recent content out there. She sent over the hotel address right away. I told her I’d be there very early in the morning before my shift, and she confirmed the time. I showed up on schedule, but ended up waiting about 40 minutes in the parking lot until she finally pulled up. The appointment had been locked in the night before, roughly 10 hours earlier, so the delay was annoying, but whatever. We met outside, exchanged a quick hello, and headed up to the room together. In the elevator she was still trying to negotiate for even more cash than what she’d originally texted me. I shut that down immediately — “Nah, we’re sticking to what we agreed on upfront.” She dropped it after that. Once we got in the room, things moved fast.
