I first corresponded with Andrea months ago. She prefers e-mail and is meticulous about screening, and insists upon being able to contact references by e-mail, which is getting harder to do, given that more and more providers have abandoned e-mail for text. Given her glowing reviews, I persisted, and was able to muster enough providers I'd seen who would answer e-mail. One good takeaway from this process is that Andrea clearly goes out of her way to be discreet. Once she was satisfied with my refs, we went back and forth on scheduling, sometimes because of changes in my availability, sometimes because of hers, with the holiday season hiatus in between.
