I had business in Philadelphia and saw that Karen was in the vicinity. Having met her in St. Louis previously, it was easy to work out arrangements. We exchanged emails back and forth planning the evening and decided on dinner and all night together. The day before our scheduled meeting, Karen asked whether I would be interested in having her friend, Laura join us. After some back and forth, I was happy to go with the flow and was delighted to be warmly greeted by both Karen and Laura when I arrived. The two together were wonderful dinner company, with the conversation covering a range of topics. The after-dinner events were even better. Karen and Laura are of contrasting styles, Karen epitomizing a sort of the West Coast busty blonde with Laura being more of a darker, smoldering Mediterranean style. The two together... well, the contrast was great.
