I called Mia on her cell phone and scheduled a time for her to come to my house. Thi would be my first meeting with Mia. She showed up about 40 minutes late. After she was about 20 minutes late, I called her cell phone but only reached her voice mail. 10 minutes later she still hadn't shown up, so I called her cell phone again, reaching her voice a second time. By now I was thinking she wasn't going to show, but then she called me and said she got lost but was almost to my house. She finally showed up after another 10 minutes. Mia knocked on my door and when I answered the door, my first reaction was that was not even the girl in the photo. I invited her in and after looking at her again concluded she was the girl in the photo, but the photos are much more glamorous. The ethnicity category doesn't allow a mix, but Mia is biracial (black/white).
