I had seen Carmen before and she was fair with me. When I called her this time, she said she needed $150 to get a hotel room. I met her at the hotel and fronted her and her friend $150 to get the room. There was supposedly a problem with the reservation date they used, and we had to wait until the issue was fixed by the hotel desk. After a long wait, I told her I couldn't wait any longer.
