In my willow world, Mila stands as a modern testament to the Yamato nadeshiko—the traditional, idealized Japanese woman whose outward grace masks an unbreakable, stoic determination. A magnificent crown of thick, rich black curly hair frames her face. The deep, midnight coils cascade softly around an unforgettable expression: a captivating, Hello Kitty meets Mona Lisa smile that is subtly playful, yet grounded in a mysterious, gentle wisdom. As she steps forward, her quiet composure gives way to a genuine, undeniable warmth. “Jon-san, okaeri!” The geisha of the past lived in the Karyūkai—the willow and flower world—a fleeting realm dedicated to art, beauty, and escape. But looking at her now, in this quiet room far from the chaos of the cruel world, I realized I didn't need the historic teahouses of Kyoto. Mila inviting me to experience her art, to know her beauty, and to escape to our own willow world.
