As a general rule of thumb, I do not write reviews. Not for restaurants, books, movies, or anything. I feel most things occupy a space where no more need really be said and I would just be contributing to the boundless white noise that makes up the internet. Do not take this as cynicism. I am, in fact, disproportionately easy to please. I simply do not enjoy writing about something that does not inspire me, nor does lack of inspiration beget a piece that is enjoyable to read. But every once in a while I encounter a truly transcendental experience that I cannot help but recount with feverish enthusiasm. Often for no one else's benefit than my own, that I, in my exposition, might relive the utterly sublime if but for a single fleeting moment.
