I've been seeing Cyrenaic (aka Dori) for years. Her availability has changed as fortunes have changed and once convenient websites have been obliterated, but damn, if you get her email hold onto it. Because I know her, it's usually an email thrown her way seeing if she's available at a certain date or time. She's often quick with an excited reply, calling herself my 'eager plaything.' She's in a residency in the Tenderloin, which isn't that big a deal if you come during the day. Three times out of ten the front desk might ask what room you're here to see, and look at your ID while jotting down a number. Don't be too paranoid about it. It's clear they don't really care. Head into her room and it's a nice island of sophistication in what would otherwise be a creaky old Apartment. A glance at the books, art and ephemera on the walls shows you she's a smart cookie. She's usually putting on some finishing touches, like her stockings or doing her hair up, but it's not long before she comes out with an ice bucket and a bottle of wine. She pours and makes you feel at home. Like a king, really, before getting down to business.
