I missed Kaylee last time she was in D.C. earlier in the month, but she told me she would be back at the end of the month and I still had the thread of text messages on my phone, so I got lucky and she was in town again. After trying to set up an approximate time Kaylee called me. She had such a sweet, almost embarrassed voice on the phone. She said she was going to have dinner and drinks on the first floor of her upscale hotel before we met. I always have to build in some extra time when I catch a taxi because sometime it is difficult, but I caught a cab right away and I got to the hotel way too early. I walked around and texted her that I had arrived and I was going for a drink in the hotel bar....remembering in the back of my head that she was going for drinks also....
