I had been trying to get Kennedy to make a special visit to Lafayette when she toured New Orleans and Baton Rouge. We almost connected on her previous visit, but I had scheduling problems and kept moving on her. She sent me an email asking that I not contact her again. I thought I had burned my bridges with her, but I got the feeling that maybe such was not the case when I saw on her next tour that she was going to spend a day in Lafayette. After letting her down the previous trip, I felt I had to make amends. Plus, I had to see those gorgeous eyes up close and in person, amongst other things, of course.
