I noticed Vanessa's posts on the General Photo Board. They are always sexy, original and playful...just like Vanessa. I noted that she was based in Boston and most of her reviews were from there and New York. Being undeterred, I sent her a well-written, thoughtful introduction email asking her to please let me know if she ever planned on being in DC. She was very thoughtful and timely when answering my first email, and her personality just shone through in every email we had. To my great joy and relief, she mentioned a planned trip in February. I requested an all-day meeting of 7 hours two months out, advising her that I understood if she wanted to keep it to a shorter time period given we'd never met. She was very quick to agree to the extended first-time date, saying "I feel very confident that you and I will have no problem filling that much time...". She's damned smart, too. We had a great time for all 7 hours, void of any awkward silent moments. The time she was in DC was fraught with weather problems, but she made our date work despite the awful snow storm.
